Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a lead commissioning professional to manage the end-to-end commissioning of utility-scale solar projects across the U.S. You will plan, organize, and supervise commissioning teams, ensuring safety and on-time handovers to owners.

The role involves up to 100% travel, onsite work at multiple project locations, and per diem support. A strong background in solar, BESS or wind commissioning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Five years’ supervisory experience.
• Commissioning experience on solar, BESS or wind projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of utility scale Solar projects to ensure compliance with the program and safety policies.
• Prepare detailed commissioning schedules from pre-commissioning through final handover.
• Determine sizing and responsibilities of the commissioning team for each site.
• Prepare and commission site documents according to contract obligations.
• Manage third-party testing and review testing documentation.
