Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned professional to perform daily project operations and coordinate planning, VDC coordination, and basic financial reporting. Provide onsite support for delivery coordination and material hand-offs with the project team, vendors, and xPL organization to meet the project schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or construction, strong scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field with minimum 3 years in manufacturing or construction
• Field construction/engineering experience with knowledge of project scheduling
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications and project schedule
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, engineering, VDC coordination and generate basic financial reports
• Provide on-site support for delivery coordination and material hand-offs with project team, vendors and xPL organization
• Maintain project documentation system and upload project folders, minutes, drawings and other docs
• Manage submittals, transmittals and RFIs for defined deliverables and variances
• Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope of work
• Record and manage PCO reviews and report findings to xPL management
• Generate project reports (schedule, material status, manufacturing status, docs)
• Facilitate site readiness coordination including transportation schedule and delivery methods
• Conduct inventory of xPL deliveries and obtain chain-of-custody signatures
• Ensure storage area meets environmental requirements and completion of predecessor work
• Conduct material reinspection after extended storage
• Support delay back charges and claims documentation
• Assist in collecting and uploading vendor close-out docs
• Participate in safety, duties and responsibilities for safe deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
