Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a highly capable project operations professional to coordinate planning, engineering, and VDC tasks on an offsite/offsite project. You will generate reports, manage deliveries, and support data-rich documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes on-site support, collaboration with vendors and project teams, and ensuring timely material hand-offs and schedule adherence in a high-travel environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with 3+ years in manufacturing or construction.
• Field construction or engineering experience with knowledge of project scheduling.
• Able to interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and schedule.
• Strong problem solving, prioritization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, engineering, and VDC coordination with the project team.
• Maintain project documentation system including photos, minutes, shop drawings and docs.
• Develop and manage delivery schedule aligned with the Contract Items List (CIL).
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs for defined deliverables.
• Review procurement and engineering packages to understand scope of work.
• Record Pending Change Order (PCO) reviews and report findings to management.
• Generate project reports on schedule, materials, and engineering status.
• Ensure site readiness with detailed transportation and delivery plans.
• Conduct inventory of xPL deliveries and obtain chain of custody signatures.
• Assist in delay back charges and claims documentation.
• Support close-out documentation for vendors and integrators.
