Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Controls/Field Engineer to support site operations for a large Dallas-area project. The role emphasizes coordinating planning, scheduling, vendor communications, and document control.

Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, deliveries, and change orders, generating project reports, and ensuring alignment with the construction schedule while maintaining safety and quality on a high-travel, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience with project scheduling and interpreting contract documents.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize, and communicate clearly.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative across stakeholders.
• Proficient with MS Office, PROCORE, SAP, and related tools; strong continuous improvement knowledge.
• Heavy travel required to support field operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, engineering, and delivery in alignment with the schedule.
• Maintain project documentation, minutes, drawings, and shop drawings.
• Manage submittals, transmittals, RFIs, and supplier communications.
• Generate and deliver project reports on schedule and status.
• Support site readiness, material delivery, and hand-offs with vendors and project team.
• Record change orders, back charges, and delay analyses for project stakeholders.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental requirements on site.
