Job summary

APTIM is seeking experienced Service Technicians to travel to landfill gas equipment sites across a multi-state region. You will support the maintenance, repair, and startup of modular gas treatment systems, with initial training alongside senior technicians.

The role requires reading electrical blueprints, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to travel 3–4 weeks each month. A company truck and tools are provided, with safety records and expense reporting expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read electrical blueprints.
• Priority given to those with mechanical experience and print reading.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for industrial controls; ability to service mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-4 days each week.
• Work with senior technicians for first year during training.
• Modify, assess, and repair electrical control and power systems (480VAC to signal wiring).
• Modify piping and installation/replacement of mechanical components into existing systems; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities, safety reports and expenses.
