Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Controls Technician to support landfill gas systems across Oklahoma. The role involves traveling to multiple landfills from Tulsa, performing field service, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on control systems, pumps, and piping.

You’ll collect data and ensure safety in outdoor environments as part of environmental engineering projects. This contract-to-hire position is onsite in Tulsa, with per diem support for occasional overnight stays and a pay range of

Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor field service requiring extensive walking.
• Mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot landfill gas control systems in the field.
• Accurate data collection and data entry for site activities.
• Valid driving record and safe vehicle operation.
• Comfort working outdoors while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Travel within Oklahoma (Tulsa area) to landfill sites for field service.
• Troubleshoot landfill gas control systems and components.
• Repair control systems, including flare equipment.
• Maintain pumps and associated landfill gas infrastructure.
• Service air compressors and perform HDPE pipe fusion work.
• Document field activities, repairs, and test results accurately.
• Work outdoors in varying weather with safety-focused mindset.
• Coordinate with operations to prioritize tasks and meet goals.
