Job summary

Cooper Tacia General Contracting is seeking a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead on-site management of diverse construction projects across the Southeast. You will oversee subcontractors, mentor junior staff, and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

A strong background in commercial construction and the ability to travel overnight are essential. The role includes coordinating multiple trades, maintaining comprehensive project records, and upholding strict safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Extensive experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed construction goals and timelines.
• Proficiency with construction management software and a willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel overnight throughout the Southeast U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of construction sites, coordinating subcontractors and employees for smooth operations.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents with guidance and support for career growth.
• Coordinate all subcontractors on-site to ensure timely, high-quality completion of tasks.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily logs and reports.
• Implement and oversee quality control processes to meet project specifications and industry standards.
