Job summary

We Search People is assisting a Georgia-based commercial contractor in seeking a qualified Superintendent to oversee day-to-day on-site operations for a portfolio of Southeast projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality on each site.

The role requires 5+ years of on-site superintendent experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day commercial construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Manage project schedules and monitor progress.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Resolve on-site issues and communicate with Project Managers and clients.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate multiple trades.
• Travel to project locations across the Southeast.
