Job summary

Cooper Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to assist the General Superintendent with daily management of the job site. The role involves coordinating field activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety and quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing subcontractor work, updating schedules and budgets, and maintaining detailed project records.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of construction experience.
• Experience with tilt wall, institutional, commercial and/or medical buildings.
• Excellent management and supervision skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field activities and timelines.
• Monitor progress and ensure quality of work delivery.
• Update project schedule and budget with Superintendents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and staff to resolve obstacles.
• Review drawings for accuracy and review contract work by subs.
• Maintain project data and logs.
