Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Scheduling Manager for a nationwide, traveling assignment in the Advanced Technology Group on a Biotech/pharma project. This role is fully remote with relocation optional and requires biotech/pharma scheduling expertise.

The candidate will lead the Planning & Scheduling team, develop CPM baselines, monitor progress, and coordinate with operations, BD, and regional teams. Travel across the U.S. will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; 12+ years related experience
• Scheduling certification desired (AACE, PMI-SP)
• Experience on projects >$500m
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervision
• Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices
• Advanced experience developing metrics, tracking results, conducting gap analysis, and managing scheduling risks
• Advanced knowledge of estimates for project schedule development
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence and leadership in challenging environments
• Knowledge of earned value concepts and using construction resources to validate productivity and durations
• Ability to lead change delays and claims

Responsibilities

• Oversee work activities of Planning & Scheduling group on one or more projects within a region, acting as Scheduling Manager
• Develop full CPM baseline schedules and monitor performance against baselines and forecasts
• Participate in ORM schedule reviews and BD pursuit schedules
• Train staff in scheduling software and techniques; manage licenses and IS collaboration
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure integration of schedules and lean construction methods
• Provide scheduling status at ORM meetings and communicate issues and resolutions
