Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems across customer facilities. You will handle mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic subsystems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure systems meet performance targets.

You will travel 75%+ to customer sites, diagnose issues, collaborate with engineering, and support continuous improvement in real-world environments. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical training or trade certification in engineering tech.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; Spanish desirable but not required.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ to customer sites.
• Comfortable learning new programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system with precision.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welds using robotic vision systems.
• Manage inventory of parts and assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
• Collect data and collaborate with engineering on issue resolution.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Inspect and replace electrical and mechanical components.
• Adapt to evolving needs in a dynamic environment.
• Travel extensively to customer sites to install and service systems.
