Job summary

Path Robotics, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate and maintain robotic welding systems in customer environments. You will troubleshoot, install, and optimize automation cells, traveling to sites to ensure performance and reliability while coordinating with engineering for issue resolution.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical experience, with welding exposure preferred. Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but certifications are not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; Spanish desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system with robotic vision.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance for precise part fit-up and throughput.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components.
• Travel extensively (75%+ of the time) to customer sites.
