Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Field Service Technician to operate and maintain advanced robotic welding systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure seamless integration of autonomous welding cells into client manufacturing processes.

The role demands hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to travel extensively, and collaboration with engineering teams to optimize performance. English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical training or trade certification or associate degree in Engineering Tech, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems within manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desirable.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.
• Comfortable learning and using programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system with robotics knowledge.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using vision systems and sensors.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer processes and troubleshoot.
• Service pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices.
