Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service, retail, hospitality, storage, or related field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Self-storage industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different store environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across multiple self-storage locations.
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service in person, by phone, and online.
• Assist customers with rentals, move-ins, payments, account questions, and general inquiries.
• Support occupancy growth through customer retention and local outreach.
• Perform routine property inspections to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Handle leasing paperwork, payment processing, account management, and related administrative tasks.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collection follow-up procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors and track completion of property work orders.
• Support merchandise sales and maintain adequate inventory levels for retail items such as locks and moving supplies.
• Step in to support staffing coverage, operational needs, and special projects as business demands require.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture while maintaining strong operational standards.
