Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of face-to-face customer service or retail sales experience.
• Ability to learn lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.
• Must register with NMLS and learn bank systems.
• Strong customer service and math skills with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate bank products.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposits, loans, insurance, and cash management.
• Safeguard assets while processing deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer; handle abundant cash.
• Open, close, and maintain accounts.
• Meet sales goals and convert service into sales.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Present professionally to reinforce Trustmark service standards.
• May coach/train other bankers; manage scheduling and duties.
• Review/approve night drops, ATM deposits, and cash items.
• Potential for cash shipment, vault management, and loan origination.
• Perform additional duties and travel among locations.
