Job summary

Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union seeks a Regional Teller/Relationship Banker to support members across Michigan branches by handling transactions and building strong relationships. You will educate members on products and services, cross-sell solutions to meet financial needs, and deliver outstanding service across channels.

This role involves rotating through multiple Michigan branches, with the goal of transitioning into a permanent branch placement after onboarding is complete,

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Up to six months of related experience.
• Must be capable of dealing calmly with diverse personalities.
• Excellent customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Must be able to multitask and assist members.
• Ability to obtain Notary designation.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, checks, transfers, wire transfers, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships by recommending credit union products/services.
• Educate members on benefits and refer to other reps as appropriate.
• Research issues and collaborate with internal departments to resolve concerns.
• Perform department support duties such as scanning, faxes, and daily reports.
• Comply with all policies and applicable laws and regulations.
