Job summary

Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Relationship Banker to build and nurture member relationships. The role emphasizes consultative sales, product knowledge, and accurate processing of transactions and documentation.

You will educate members on financial products, assist with mortgage lending, and support the member experience through in-person and remote interactions, with a focus on compliance and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to two years of related experience.
• Two years in proactive sales in banking/credit union environment opening accounts and taking loan applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and deliver financial solutions through consultative interviewing, including mortgage lending, consumer accounts, and loan applications.
• Process transactions, update account information, and document member interviews with accuracy.
• Research issues and collaborate with internal departments to resolve concerns.
• Coordinate with Lending staff to ensure seamless loan closing and member service.
• Perform department support duties and comply with applicable laws and policies.
