Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with hiring, training and onboarding of candidates. You will travel to service centers, career fairs and events, build strong candidate pipelines, review applications, and conduct interviews for hourly roles and interns.

Collaboration with Recruiting Manager is key to aligning strategies and meeting goals; you will also assist with onboarding, training schedules and ongoing communication with center leadership.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask across competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience conducting interviews is a plus and hiring process familiarity is valuable.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recruiting projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of candidates.
• Travel to various Service Centers, career fairs and hiring events.
• Develop candidate pipelines via social media, job boards, referrals, and agencies.
• Screen applications and interview hourly employees and interns.
• Coordinate interviews for Hiring Managers and follow up with candidates.
