Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, onboarding and training of hourly staff and interns. The role involves traveling to multiple centers and events to build a robust candidate pipeline and collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to meet staffing goals.

You will review applications, conduct interviews (in-person or virtual), and facilitate the interview-to-offer process in the ATS, while coordinating training schedules for new hires and

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Travel to various Service Centers, career fairs, school or club presentations and hiring events
• Partner with Recruiting Manager to align strategies and meet goals
• Source candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, agencies
• Review applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruit hourly employees and interns
• Interview applicants in person or virtually
• Arrange interviews for Hiring Managers
• Follow up with candidates during the interview process
• Move candidates through the interview and hiring process in the ATS
• Create training schedules for new employees
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at the Service Center
• Train new Service Center employees
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
