Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a QA/QC Manager for a Lehi, UT project with a future traveling role. You will oversee QA/QC programs, develop inspection plans, and lead QC teams to ensure contractual quality objectives are met and issues are resolved efficiently.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Science and 6–10 years in QA/QC, with semiconductor experience preferred. Travel nationwide after Lehi assignment is expected; OSHA 30 training may be completed within year.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 6-10 years’ experience in QA/QC or related role; designing/implementing quality programs.
• Experience on semiconductor projects highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationwide after Lehi assignment.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (within first year).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Quality Control Program and supervises QC Engineers I & II.
• Develops test/inspection plans per technical specs and contract.
• Supervises QC staff and field testing lab technicians.
• Interfaces with Client/Architect to approve QC program at the project site.
• Manages field installations for compliance and resolves punch list items.
• Leads pre-activity and weekly Quality Control meetings; uses QC software.
