Job summary
Austin Commercial is seeking a QA/QC Manager for a major project in Lehi, UT. The role will start on-site for about a year and then transition to a nationwide traveling position.
The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or related field with 6–10 years in quality assurance/control, experience with large-scale projects, and travel readiness. OSHA 30, CMIC/Bluebeam/BIM 360 Field skills are preferred.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Science, or related field
- 6–10 years in QA/QC or related role
- Experience on large-scale semiconductor projects preferred
- Willingness to travel nationwide after Lehi assignment
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training completed or within first year
Responsibilities
- Implements the Quality Control Program and supervises QC Engineers I & II.
- Develops Test/Inspection plans per specs and contract.
- Oversees QC staff including QC Engineers I & II and lab techs.
- Interfaces with Client/Architect for QA program approval and execution.
- Manages field installations and resolves punch list items and non-compliance.
- Leads pre-activity and weekly Quality Control meetings.
- Implements QC software such as BIM 360 Field.
