Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to lead the project-specific QA/QC Plan for a Critical Facilities-Data Centers project in the USA. You will coordinate with project teams, owners, architects and subcontractors to ensure full contract compliance and robust quality control across all phases of construction.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with at least five years of construction QA/QC experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years' experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Knowledge of the construction process, means and methods, and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Turner's project management software and leadership skills.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills; proven leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop the project-specific QA/QC Plan to deliver fully compliant project.
• Manage QA/QC staff and ensure qualified specialized staff are assigned.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Lead, supervise and develop all Turner QA/QC staff and provide input on performance appraisals.
• Ensure ethics and compliance requirements are followed at all times.
• Understand contract documents and develop engineering procedures, document control, RFIs and change orders.
• Implement QA/QC Plan in coordination with the safety plan and project schedule.
• Coordinate QA/QC procedures at appropriate stages of the work and improve documentation and traceability.
• Execute the QA/QC Plan with engagement of project staff, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Conduct testing and inspections and arrange third-party testing; analyze results.
• Oversee project close-out and quality reports.
