Turner Construction Company in New York, NY seeks a senior QA/QC professional to plan, coordinate, and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan in alignment with contract documents. You will lead QA/QC staff, coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensure ethical, compliant project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of construction experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in document control and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least five years' construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, installation procedures and tolerances.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Very strong verbal and written communication; leadership and mentorship abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC Plan with the project team and contract documents.
• Ensure qualified staff are assigned to execute the plan.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance.
• Lead QA/QC staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure ethics and compliance at all times.
• Develop procedures for document control, RFIs, samples, changes within budget.
• Coordinate QA/QC Plan with the project safety plan and schedule.
• Improve documentation and record-keeping of compliance.
• Execute the QA/QC Plan across all project staff and external partners.
• Coordinate testing and arrange third-party testing and inspections; analyze results.
• Oversee project close-out and quality reports.
