Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a full-time traveling QA/QC Manager to support an Advanced Technology project portfolio, including Data Centers, Pharma, Industrial, and EV/Battery segments. The role is based on-site at Houston-area projects with 70-80% travel.

You will plan, coordinate, and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan, supervise QA/QC staff, and ensure compliance with contract documents. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years' construction experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Turner's project management software.
• QA/QC certification may be required depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project team, owners, and contract documents.
• Lead and develop QA/QC staff and ensure adherence to ethics and compliance.
• Coordinate QA/QC procedures with the project execution plan and safety plan.
• Inspect and test materials and workmanship; arrange third-party testing as needed.
• Manage document control, RFIs, change orders, and cost tracking within budget.
