Job summary

JES Holdings, through Fairway Management, seeks a Roaming Property Manager to support a portfolio of affordable housing communities. The role involves daily travel to sites, leasing activities, budget monitoring, and ensuring compliance with fair housing and government programs.

You will handle rent collection, applicant processing, inspections, and vendor oversight while delivering outstanding resident service and timely reporting across the region.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Real Page Onesite and fair housing regulations.
• Proficient in auditing, training, and meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites across the region to support operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, rent collection, and reporting.
• Ensure fair housing and affordable housing regulations are followed.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours and notify delinquencies.
• Provide excellent service to residents, handle inquiries and work orders.
• Maintain applicant wait lists and oversee move-ins and recertifications.
• Pass inspections and supervise outside vendors as required.
• Walk properties daily and organize community activities as needed.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies and training conferences.
