Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services across the United States. The Superintendent is the on-site overall manager for medium to large projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance in line with company requirements.

This role requires recruiting and supervising staff, coordinating with customer representatives, managing profitability, schedules, and job documentation, and extensive travel as needed to meet customer and project goals.

Qualifications

• Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and strong reading/writing and oral presentation abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop branch and job processes and best practices.
• Must be able to travel within the branch or regional territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge project staff.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan for, monitor and maintain project profitability to meet company goals.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload, staffing, and progress of installation.
• Review job cost postings and invoicing, collections and reports.
• Complete project paperwork accurately and on time; ensure closing packages meet standards.
• Perform quality checks and ensure safety and outages are prevented.
