Job summary

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is seeking traveling Superintendents to serve as the primary on-site leader for high-profile commercial projects across the United States. This role demands travel and extended site stays to drive construction from setup through turnover.

We value a GC Superintendent with 7+ years of experience, a degree in Construction Management (preferred), and strong ability to read blueprints and manage MEP systems with CM software proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as a GC Superintendent on large scale commercial projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, MEP systems, plus proficiency in CM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and manage project schedules.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor for productivity and compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations on site.
• Inspect workmanship and materials for plan adherence and quality.
• Manage municipal inspections and drive punch list closures.

Cleveland Construction is looking to add traveling Superintendents to serve as the primary on-site leader for high profile commercial construction projects across the US.

This role requires travel and extended stays at job sites to drive construction from initial setup through final turnover.

Key Job Functions

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, submit daily logs and field reports
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site for all workers and visitors
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions

What You Need

• 7+ years’ experience as a GC Superintendent on large scale commercial construction projects
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, MEP building systems, plus proficient in construction management software
