Job summary

Cleveland Construction is hiring a Project Superintendent for a high-end hotel project in Savannah, GA. The role is the primary on-site leader, requiring travel and extended stays at job sites to drive construction from setup through turnover.

The candidate should have extensive GC Superintendent experience on large commercial builds, a related degree, and proficiency with construction management software to coordinate schedules and field operations. This position is on-site and site-intensive.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a GC Superintendent on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, MEP building systems, plus proficient in construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, submit daily logs and field reports.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site for all workers and visitors.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions.
