Job summary

Cleveland Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead on-site operations for high-profile commercial projects across the United States. This role requires travel and extended stays at job sites to drive work from setup through turnover.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate subcontractors, lead weekly safety meetings, inspect workmanship, and manage inspections and punch lists to ensure compliance with plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as a GC Superintendent on large scale commercial construction projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, MEP building systems, plus proficient in construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, submit daily logs and field reports
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site for all workers and visitors
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions.
