Job summary

Cleveland Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead high-profile commercial projects across the United States. This role requires frequent travel and extended stays at multiple job sites, driving the project from initial setup through turnover.

You will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subs, review plans, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure inspections and punch lists are completed on time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as GC Superintendent on large-scale commercial projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, submit daily logs and field reports.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site for all workers and visitors.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions.

Cleveland Construction is looking to add traveling Superintendents to serve as the primary on-site leader for high profile commercial construction projects across the US. This role requires travel and extended stays at job sites to drive construction from initial setup through final turnover.
