Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Project Manager 1, Advanced Industries, to lead day-to-day on complex projects nationwide, starting in Essex Junction, VT. The role emphasizes safety, schedule, budgeting, and client coordination to deliver mission-critical facilities.

You'll manage preconstruction, procurement, subcontractor oversight, and communications across design teams, owners, and vendors, while traveling to project sites and supporting Lean processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted drivers license required
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness.
• Manages the JE Dunn prestart process.
• Supports the preconstruction team including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope of work development.
• Leads plan and implementation of buyout schedule and manages subcontractor pricing.
• Manages the submittal schedule and coordinates with architects/engineers.
