Job summary

T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to join our Nashville-based team.

This role requires frequent travel and extended onsite presence at remote project locations, serving as the primary company representative with clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will manage project goals, budgets, schedules, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of project management experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Experience managing projects typically ranging from $5M to $25M; remote/travel-intensive work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate commercial/industrial construction projects to meet goals within timelines and budgets.
• Travel frequently and maintain onsite leadership across remote locations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and cost controls; monitor performance against milestones.
• Attend client interviews/meetings and mentor junior staff.
