Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Temple, TX is seeking a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role emphasizes operational excellence, financial management, team leadership and stakeholder relationship management to meet contractual and financial targets.

You will lead safety culture, manage risks and drive strategy with senior management while coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience (Preferred)
• 5+ years people management experience (Required)
• Demonstrated success in leading large/complex projects and teams.
• Experience running 75M+ aviation projects (desired)

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases of the lifecycle.
• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment and corrective actions.
• Develops and supports company-wide initiatives and policies within the work program.
• Provides strategic direction to team members for the project lifecycle.
• Builds and maintains long-term relationships with clients to cultivate repeat opportunities.
• Manages project risks, change orders, contingencies and fee enhancements.
• Develops subcontractor strategy and ensures qualified partners are selected.
• Leads preconstruction discussions with clients and external partners.
• Oversees project and schedule reviews to meet contractual obligations.
