Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Cost Manager to support the development and management of the project financial strategy. You will partner with the project management team to manage budgets, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts, generating reports for varied stakeholders.

The role requires cost engineering expertise, strong collaboration with accounting and management, and travel to nationwide projects. A Bachelor degree and 4+ years in construction cost are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
• 5–10 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with PMWeb or similar project portfolio management software, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team to understand total project cost budget and targets.
• Review documents to develop and track change orders and baseline estimates.
• Coordinate with accounting for accurate billing, costs, and forecasts.
• Interface with management, subcontractors, clients as needed.
• Conduct cost engineering, estimation, analysis, and control activities on major projects.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and transparency in cost management deliverables.
• Own cost control and ensure integrity of cost and forecast reporting.
