Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Cost Engineer in Hobart, Indiana to develop and manage the project financial strategy. You will work with the project management team to manage the budget, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts, delivering reports and identifying variances and risks while ensuring cost procedures align with management's strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or construction management.
• 3–5 years of project cost experience.
• Minimum 2 years in construction industry.
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, controls and execution.
• Proficient with PMWeb or similar PM software; Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project cost budgets, forecasts and reports.
• Review change orders and baseline estimates; assess cost impacts.
• Coordinate with accounting for billings and cost data integration.
• Maintain cost control, spend profiles, and transparency.
• Collaborate with project management, subcontractors, and clients as needed.
