Job summary

F3 Technologies is seeking a Traveling Field Implementation Technician to support nationwide POS installations and training. You will travel to customer sites in the US and Canada, install and troubleshoot POS systems, and help keep checkout lines moving.

The role requires extensive travel, weekend work, and flexibility with schedules. A driver’s license, passport, and TSA-compliant ID are essential, with residence near a major airport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to a full week, with overnight stays away from home.
• Ability to work four weekend days per month, as well as early mornings, late evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays, as scheduled.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets requirements.
• Valid government-issued identification that meets TSA requirements for travel.
• Valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of a major commercial airport.
• Some roles require fluency in more than one language; communicated during hiring.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across changing locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Travel continuously Monday through Friday to customer sites across the United States or Canada to install, maintain, replace, and repair Point of Sale systems in person.
• Install, maintain, replace, and repair POS systems with customer sites remotely, as assigned.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Lead high-level customer engagement during training, go-live, and troubleshooting services.
• Partner with scheduling and dispatch to manage travel itineraries and adapt to delays or reassignments.
• Transport, safeguard, and track company equipment, tools, and inventory while traveling.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports and receipts per travel guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used with documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Adhere to safety standards at all times, including during travel.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
