Job summary

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a part-time Traveling New Patient Coordinator to support our Orthodontic department. You will accompany the orthodontist to assist with new patient consultations at the Durham and Cary offices, coordinating care and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

The ideal candidate is a patient-first team player with strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, proficient with dental software, and capable of lifting up to 15-20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of dental experience required.
• Orthodontic experience preferred.
• NC X-Ray Certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 15-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations including office tours, treatment and financial overview.
• Take initial records (photos, X-rays) and scheduling bonding and recall appointments.
• Prepare and present bonding contracts; review financial agreements and collect payments.
• Post payments, submit insurance claims, and set up auto-drafts.
• Maintain patient reports and appointment confirmations.
• Schedule ongoing maintenance and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor and respond to office emails.
• Support other administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
