Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across multiple company locations. You will work with large-capacity washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, following blueprints and safety protocols.

The role requires reading maintenance literature in English, experience with hand and power tools, and welding skills (MIG/TIG/ARC). A valid driver’s license and 18+ years of age are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics (preferred).
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout is preferred.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing).

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment and systems.
• Performs maintenance following safety policies and procedures.
• Travels to multiple company locations to perform duties.
• Operates welding on machinery and systems per instructions.
• Reads blueprints and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Keeps work area safe and clean and adheres to regulations.
