Job summary

Layton Construction seeks an MEP Superintendent to oversee daily job-site operations, schedule, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. The role includes directing direct labor and any contracted work to ensure timely project completion.

The candidate should have 5+ years in commercial construction, with experience in mission-critical environments, and be capable of coordinating across multiple trades on healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Verifiable knowledge of construction processes and methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Travel ability to commute to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications and plan procedures, staffing and schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on look-ahead schedules and mobilization.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Inform all parties about construction issues and progress regularly.
• Manage labor and subcontractor coordination to minimize delays.
