Job summary

Layton Construction is hiring a MEP Superintendent to oversee daily site operations, scheduling, and procurement for construction projects. The role includes coordinating with the Project Manager, directing tools and materials delivery, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction and at least 5 years of commercial construction experience in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years commercial construction experience in a Mission Critical environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes.
• Good written and verbal communication; English required; basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications to plan procedures and staffing for each phase of construction.
• Develop and use look-ahead schedules with Project Manager.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and procurement to meet schedules.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance with specs and schedules.
• Manage labor and crew assignments to control costs.
