Job summary

Layton Construction seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead daily operations on a major project in the Utah area. You will schedule, produce, and procure materials, labor, and equipment while supervising direct labor and coordinating with subcontractors and the Project Manager to meet milestones.

You will ensure safety, quality, and efficient progress, maintaining open communication with clients and the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent.
• Proven knowledge of construction processes and codes.
• Familiarity with blueprints, specs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job-site operations including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop and monitor look-ahead schedules and project milestones.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials aligning with work schedules.
• Coordinate meetings with project stakeholders and subcontractors to review scope and progress.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards across the site.
• Lead and supervise direct labor and manage subcontractor coordination and labor costs.
• Maintain communications with clients and project team on progress and issues.
