Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Superintendent to join our healthcare construction team in the United States. You will coordinate and supervise MEP trades, develop schedules, ensure codes compliance, and manage on-site safety to deliver projects on time and within budget.

With 5+ years in construction, you will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and negotiate contracts while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing MEP projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems; able to read MEP drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise MEP trades on construction projects.
• Develop and maintain MEP schedules and ensure they are on track.
• Ensure all MEP installations meet codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems.
• Develop and implement quality control measures for MEP systems.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on site.
• Mentor junior MEP staff.
