Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field coordination, quality control, and daily supervision of subcontractors for commercial projects. You will prepare schedules, monitor progress, and report to the Project Manager while ensuring safety and compliance on site.

The role requires 10+ years of field experience in commercial construction, with supervisory responsibilities and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and Life Science construction experience preferred.
• Experience should include supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate status reports.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and daily supervision of subcontractors.
• Regularly reviews status with the Project Manager and client representatives; manages large projects with multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards are implemented and adhered to by all workers in the operating area.
