Job summary

American Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join the clerical team in a full-time capacity. The role requires travel to Cherry Hill, Deptford, Elmer, Mullica Hill – MOB, Mullica Hill – Tomlin, Sewell, Vineland, West Deptford, and additional sites as needed.

You will handle patient check-in/check-out, verify eligibility, manage charts, and support financial processes while maintaining accurate records and professional communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of medical insurance guidelines.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and clerical support prepping patient charts for office visits.
• Manage check-in and check-out process for patients, ensuring information is collected and documented accurately.
• Ensure all reports, referrals, and authorization requests are in the patient’s chart prior to the visit.
• Obtain and upload patients’ driver’s license and insurance card into chart.
• Input patient information into computer.
• Collect and document ROA’s, surgical deposits, and disability form fees before services.
• Verify patient eligibility for services to ensure coverage and minimize billing issues.
• Scan and upload documents from the medical assistant folder into charts for record-keeping.
• Travel to all locations as required.
