Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (proof required).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment.
• Previous travel assignment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and administrative support in a physician's office.
• Take vital signs and collect medical histories.
• Prepare patients for procedures and collect specimens.
• Administer injections under physician supervision.
• Obtain consent forms and prepare surgical packets.
• Communicate test results and care plans as directed by the physician.
