Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float MA, delivering both front-desk support and clinical assistance across multiple locations within the state and/or region.

The role requires versatility, travel readiness, and collaboration with primary care physicians to provide excellent patient care and welcome guests with a high-quality experience. Prior MA program completion and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• This Float role requires travel to other locations within the state and/or region.
• Flexible schedule is required to cover shifts for absent teammates and vacancies.

Aufgaben

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Reviews previous medical information and gathers updated health information for the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations under provider orders.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and other care outside the clinic; document in medical records.
• Process test results and communicate to patients via e-message, mail, or phone.
• Participates in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments.
