Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float MA across multiple locations within the state and region. The role supports primary care teams, performing clinical duties and acting as a receptionist as needed to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of a MA program, and CPR/BLS certification; phlebotomy is a plus. Travel between sites is required, with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; MA certification or registration required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and immunizations per orders.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate with care team.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Communicate test results and outreach to patients as directed.
