Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to join our care team, providing support across multiple locations within the state and region. The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities to deliver a seamless patient experience.

The position requires 1 year of MA experience, MA certification/registration where required, and CPR/BLS. You must be flexible to travel and cover shifts as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; completion of a formal MA program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; certification may be required by states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties including scheduling and medical record requests.
• Coordinate with labs and other care team to ensure continuity.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines.
• Support outreach to patients to drive engagement.
