Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join our team. This position travels to multiple locations within the state and nearby regions, supporting primary care clinics and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will perform clinical duties and front-desk tasks while adapting to shifting schedules. The role requires versatility, a 1-year MA background, MA certification, CPR/BLS, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Providers.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record following guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate outcomes to patients as instructed.
