Job summary

NHE, Inc. seeks a Traveling Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance operations across South Carolina and North Carolina, primarily at Charleston-area properties. You will assist site staff, recruit and train team members, negotiate with vendors, and ensure high resident and third-party service standards.

Regular travel, including overnight stays, and weekend/holiday work may be required. Strong trades knowledge, budgeting, and customer service are essential; familiarity with YARDI Voyager

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-site property maintenance experience.
• Certification as a Type I and Type II technician from an EPA approved program.
• Certified Pool Operator.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations (federal, state).
• Knowledge of expense control and financial concepts.
• Multifamily leasing or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisors and on-site staff; fill in at properties with coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with Director of Maintenance, VPs, and Area Management Team to maintain service quality.
• Identify and prioritize projects; solicit pricing to meet budgets.
• Execute capital projects as directed by Maintenance leadership.
• Provide developmental support and advise on candidates for openings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Travel across SC/NC; weekends/holidays may be required.
